Rehousing Service Process Description
Initial Assessment & Diagnosis
Once we receive your lens, we will briefly evaluate it to determine the condition of the lens' optics and issue an inspection report.
Custom Mechanical Design
We will make accurate mechanical design for each lens (since there are many batches of vintage lenses, we will check them one by one). After the mechanical design is completed, we will arrange the production process and all the main core components will be completed in our factory.
Disassembly & Deep Cleaning
-
Precision Assembly & Optical Calibration
The original lens is completely disassembled and cleaned. We will use the corresponding solvent to clean different problems. If there is a problem with some lens components, we will communicate with the customer as soon as possible whether to carry out optical repair tasks (extra quotation). We will retain the original mechanical parts and ask the customer whether they need to be sent back.
Final Measurement
For the final measurement, we will use a rangefinder to measure the position of each focus one by one, and finally adjust the limit range inside the lens (a limit module is set inside); we will use a T stop tester to test the aperture size of each lens.
Laser Engraving & Finishing
Support custom LOGO (extra quotation)
According to the designed appearance layout, all details are accurately engraved.
Finally, we will paint these lenses with corresponding colors and complete the final assembly.
Service Commitment
Warranty Period**: Modified components are covered by a 1 year warranty, with lifetime maintenance at cost price.
